Ladies Car Care Clinic

Knowledge is power.  Women need to understand their cars better so they don’t feel intimidated.  A ladies car care clinic is the perfect tool to help women feel more comfortable about the importance of preventive maintenance and why it is necessary to keep their car in good running condition. Gone are the days that women depended on a man to look after their car maintenance; women are now taking responsibility for their own vehicle maintenance. This is a FREE, fun informative ladies day out, to learn about maintenance of their vehicle.

Please drop by our 121 King St location on Saturday May 15th for our Customer Appreciation Day, it’s a free event and it’s open to everyone. The day starts at 9:30 to 11:30 with Kelly Williams and our Ladies Car Care Clinic. At 11:00 we start a free car wash & BBQ.

There will be fun inflatables for the kids, as well as many prizes & giveaways.  Including a chance to win the new BBQ we use that day!

Our Cooper Tire supplier will be there with a truckload of tires at great prices! Just pick them off the truck and we will install them the following week!  Enter our AC Delco Oil Filter For Life contest (for the life of the vehicle you currently own), plus more!
Don’t miss it!

Clininc Starts at 9:30am

Kelly Williams - Speaker Profile:
Just days after she earned her degree to become a high school teacher, Kelly Williams decided to explore a career in race car driving full-time. She knew racing was fun and she loved it. What she didn’t know is that through racing, she would one day also become a successful entrepreneur, business leader and television host.

Kelly won her first racing career victory at the Canadian National Exhibition in 1990 and in 1993, made her breakthrough as one of Ontario’s top drivers. That year, she won eight races and finished fourth in the travelling Goodyear Challenge Cup Series. She was also voted as the Most Popular Driver by the fans.

Then in 1994, Kelly took another step up in her career by competing in the CASCAR Late Model Series, the most prestigious arena for stock car racing in Canada. She became the first female driver to capture a win in the 14-year history of CASCAR racing that year. Although it was a qualifying race, she still holds that record today. Her best finish in the CASCAR series was fourth. She also finished tenth in National Series, earning another “Most Popular Driver” award from the fans in 1999.  Kelly competed in the CASCAR Super Series for 10 years, securing sponsorships from GM Goodwrench, AOL Canada, Westburne Electric and Kawasaki.

While making a sure and steady rise up the stock car racing ladder, Kelly excelled in other areas of the motor sports field as well. As a member of the CART Pace Car Team for thirteen years, her natural driving skills flourished. In her role with the squad, she travels around the world with Champcar World Series and was the first person to pace a race in the Ford GT Supercar ever!

Most recently, Kelly has also branched out into television, becoming the host of Mechanical Chicks, which airs weekly on the Global Television Network. In 2006, she also acted as an expert panellist on Canada’s Worst Driver, a new  television series on the Discovery Channel. . In addition, Kelly is the national spokesperson for Car Care Canada’s Be Car Care Aware program, a consumer awareness program dedicated to promoting regular vehicle maintenance.
